Meet model Sara Sampaio (Victoria's Secret Angel)

Sara Pinto Sampaio is a Portuguese model best known for being a Victoria's Secret Angel.
She appeared as the first Portuguese supermodel and won Rookie of the Year in the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

She won Portuguese Golden Globes in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016 for Best Female Model. Sara is born and brought up on the outskirts of the city Porto in Portugal.
She was 16 when she won her first modeling contest while studying at high school. She did not pursue her career in this field immediately.
After finishing her education, she moved to Paris and stayed over there for nine months before finally transferring to New York.

She debuted in the world of fashion by walking on the ramp for Kevork Kiledjian and Blumarine. It was for a Ready to Wear – Spring/Summer 2012 fashion show.
Sara is extremely fond of animals especially dogs. She has a pet Chihuahua named Luigi.
She has appeared in several magazines such as GQ, Elle, Vogue, Glamour and Sports Illustrated.
Sara likes to do practice boxing in her spare time. She says it helps her be fit. Another thing is that she holds a brown belt in karate too.

This Victoria’s Secret Angel is also multilingual. She can speak English, Portuguese and a bit of Spanish. She can even understand Italian and French.
She had previously dated River Viiperi and Alex DeLeon in 2012 and 2013 respectively. She is now dating One Direction’s Harry Style.
She played as Prianca in the television series "Billions" (Season 2/Episode 3) - "Optimal Play."
She also made an appearance in Nick Jonas's music video entitled "Chainsaw." She played as the girlfriend.
She walked the ramp recently at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Shanghai, China.

She is now having a feud with Lui magazine claiming that they aggressively pressured her to pose nude, then published several images without her consent.
Sara wrote on her Instagram ‘Today, I feel compelled to share a recent experience I had with the French men’s magazine, Lui”.
"I want every model and every woman to know they have the right to make their own choices about their body and their image." She is currently working with her agency to seek legal action against Lui (French men's magazine) but has chosen to share her story to produce attention to the bullying, mistreatment, and harassment that models face in the fashion industry.
